School Supplies for September
Below is a list of items needed for the start of the new school year so that you can take advantage of Back to School specials. In addition, each student will be required to provide $6.00 towards the cost of their agenda book. This will be collected the first week of school.
Primary Division – Grades 1, 2 & 3 Pencils, erasers (pink pearl – please put your child’s name on in ink) crayons, pencil crayons (Gr. 2 & 3 only), 1 box of Crayola markers – non-toxic washable (8 original colours), glue sticks, 1 thin binder (Grade 3), 1 box of Kleenex for the classroom. Be prepared to restock these items as they are used up or lost.
Junior Division – Grades 4, 5 & 6 Pencil case, calculator, pencils (24), erasers (3) pencil crayons, pencil sharpener, crayons, markers, glue, scissors, 3-holed lined paper, a dictionary and a box of Kleenex for the classroom. Green, blue and red duotangs (one of each colour) would also be helpful. This division does not need binders or notebooks.
Intermediate Division – Grades 7 & 8 Calculator, math kit (protractor, etc.), 30 cm ruler, 5-1inch flexible binders, glue stick, pencils –HB12, coloured pencils, a dictionary/thesaurus, 2 erasers, lined loose-leaf paper, 5 duotangs.
French – Grades 4-8 Students in Grades 4-8 will require a 1” binder with pockets front and back (not larger as it creates storage problems). They will need to be prepared for class EVERY day with a pencil, eraser, and colouring things (markers, pencil crayons, etc.). A French-English dictionary is optional for grades 4 and 5. Grades 6, 7 and 8 would probably find their own dictionary helpful.
Phys. Ed. We require that all junior and intermediate students change into phys. ed. attire for gym classes – shorts/track pants, t-shirt and indoor running shoes.
Indoor Shoes Each student is asked to bring two pairs of shoes – one pair for outdoor use and one pair for indoor use, preferably non-marking and suitable for phys. Ed.
